CSD August 19/20 2023
Registration opens May 1st at 5 PM CST
We will be hosting a couple of two day precision rifle matches this year.
The second match will be August 19/20 2023 with a sight in day on the 18th from noon to 5 pm
The matches will be hosted 40 km south of Maple creek SK, right on the edge of the Cypress Hills park.
The match will consist of 16-18 stages over the two days. Shooters will be engaging targets on the clock at varying ranges from 250-1200 yards. 80% of the shooting will take place between 400-800 yards.
Most shooting will take place off of a variety of obstacles for example tires, barrels, cattle gates or roof simulators.
Round count for the match will be 200 rounds BUT it is recommended to bring at least an extra 25 incase of reshoots or an emergency re-zero.

As per standard rules we will have a velocity and caliber cap.
The caliber is capped at .30 cal (308 Win) NO MAGNUMS
The muzzle velocity is capped at 3200 FPS
- rifle with 10RD magazine preferably two magazines
- adjustable rifle scope with some kind of reticle
- adjustable bipod
- chamber flag
- 225 rounds
- 3rd party insurance (CCFR only)
- spotting scope
- shooting bag
- range finder
- wind meter
Sign up, squading, division and prizes
This is getting pretty long winded so lets hammer out the rest of it. When purchasing a spot you will only be asked what division or basically are you a youth (17 and under) or an Adult. This year in hopes to help grow our sport we have reduced the youth price from 200$ down to 55$.
One month before the match everyone will be emailed a link to Practiscore for squading. Sometimes the auto email has a fit so be sure and check in with us if you didn't get one.
We will have 80 spots available for purchase and will try and run squads of 10ish.
Prizes everyone loves prizes, we are going to try something new. We will have trophies for
- Top Junior
And they will collect trophies in that order.
Then 3 shooters numbers will be drawn at random to come up and pick off the prize table. After the lucky 3 have gone we will call everyone else up in order of final score starting with Top junior and so on. Also the 1ST place winner will be given free admittance to the next years match.
Last but not least. We are looking for all the help we can get. Whether it be sponsorship, help setting up/take down or are willing to Squad mom/ help run the stage.
This year all volunteer squad moms will have first crack at squading and bringing 3 friends into their squad before squading is open to the public.
For all of the above or for any questions give us a call or send us a email!
